About Us

We are a welcoming and caring community of faith receiving and sharing the love of God through the risen Christ.

We gather for worship and Sunday School on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. and would be happy to have you join us.

The door to our attractive 1906 brick building, complete with glorious stained-glass windows and park-like grounds, are open to all.

Our History

In 1906, St. Andrew’s was built and officially opened in1907. In 1922 local church union brought the Methodist and Presbyterian congregations together. In 1925 with the birth of the United Church of Canada it became St. Andrew’s United Church.

Over the next almost one hundred years, St. Andrew’s has been an active and faithful place of worship. A thriving Sunday school, vibrant music program and choir and a very active and supportive group of United Church Women have been a vital part of the life and work of St. Andrew’s.

Ministry and Worship leadership has shown a sound commitment to sharing the love of God through Jesus Christ. As a community of faith, St. Andrew’s is dedicated to Missions and Service and the work it does in Canada and abroad. Our church is a welcoming and caring place of worship.

Ephesians 3:20
“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen”
